Product Description
Low Odor, Clog-Free Eco Ink 1000ML For Epson Printers - Safe For Office, Reliable Performance
Features

True Eco-Friendliness · Ready for Indoor Use

With minimal odor and VOC emissions far below national standards, our ink produces no irritating smell. Printing equipment can be deployed in semi-enclosed spaces such as shopping malls, supermarkets, and offices, helping clients break through production site limitations and explore high-end indoor business opportunities.

Formulated with highly stable pigments, our ink offers excellent UV and water resistance, maintaining color fidelity for 1–3 years outdoors. It boasts wide substrate compatibility, providing strong adhesion on both coated and most uncoated materials, delivering a balanced and reliable all-around performance.

Specifically optimized for Epson and other Micro Piezo printheads, our ink has extremely low corrosiveness, significantly reducing the risk of nozzle clogs. This ensures uninterrupted production, extends the service life of precision printheads, and lowers maintenance costs.

FAQs
  1. Product Properties & Eco-Friendliness

Q1: What exactly does "Low-Odor Eco-Solvent" mean? How is it eco-friendly?

A1: "Low-Odor" means there is almost none of the pungent, unpleasant chemical smell associated with traditional solvent inks during printing and drying. "Eco-Solvent" refers to the use of organic solvents with milder corrosiveness. Its eco-friendliness is mainly reflected in: 1) Extremely low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, minimizing air pollution; 2) A workspace-friendly solution that does not require additional powerful exhaust systems; 3) Significantly reduced irritation to humans, safeguarding operator health.

Q2: Can its outdoor durability really last 1-3 years?

A2: Yes, under standard testing conditions (e.g., outdoor natural exposure), prints using our ink with proper lamination can maintain color for 1-3 years. Actual lifespan can be affected by specific environmental factors (e.g., UV intensity, rainwater acidity/alkalinity), media quality, and whether professional lamination is applied. For extreme environments, we recommend conducting a sample test first.

  2. Pre-Use Preparation

Q3: Is this ink compatible with my printer?

A3: This ink is specifically optimized for large-format printers (commonly known as "photo printers" or "solvent printers") equipped with Epson series Micro Piezo printheads. Before switching inks, it is crucial to confirm whether your specific device model and printhead type are compatible. We provide a detailed compatibility list—please contact customer service. Do NOT use on thermal bubble jet or other types of printheads.

Q4: Do I need to flush the lines and printhead when switching from my current ink to yours?

A4: A definite yes! Mixing different brands or types of ink can easily cause chemical reactions, leading to coagulation, clogging, and permanent damage to the printhead. Before switching to our ink, you must thoroughly and completely flush the entire ink system (ink bags, tubes, printhead) of the old ink using dedicated cleaning fluid. We provide a standard cleaning procedure guide.

  3. Printing & Color

Q5: What materials can it print on? Does the media need a coating?

A5: This ink has extremely wide media compatibility. It performs best on most materials with an "eco-solvent coating" or "mild solvent coating", such as PP, self-adhesive vinyl, banner, and vehicle wrap films. Simultaneously, it can also print directly onto many uncoated materials like PVC and leather with strong adhesion. For special or expensive media, we always recommend running a sample test first.

Q6: Why do the printed colors look different from what I see on my computer screen?

A6: This is a common phenomenon caused by different color reproduction principles. Screens (RGB additive color) and prints (CMYK subtractive color) belong to different color systems. To ensure color accuracy, we strongly recommend: 1) Using a professionally calibrated monitor; 2) Creating a dedicated ICC color profile for your specific combination of printer, media, and our ink; 3) Always requesting a physical proof for color-critical jobs.

  4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Q7: Will the printhead still clog with your ink? How to prevent it?

A7: Compared to traditional solvents, our ink has much lower corrosiveness, significantly reducing the risk of clogs caused by corrosion or crystallization. However, clogs can also be caused by mechanical damage, air bubbles in the system, ink drying out from long idle periods, or dust contamination from media. Preventive measures include: performing a daily nozzle check; following proper storage or cleaning procedures when the printer is idle for extended periods; and maintaining a clean printing environment.

Q8: What should I do if there are print breaks or streaks during printing?

A8: First, run the printer's "Nozzle Check" function. If lines are missing in the pattern, it indicates a clogged nozzle. Please perform a "Light Cleaning" or "Powerful Cleaning" cycle 1-2 times. Wait a few moments after cleaning before checking again. Avoid consecutive intensive cleanings, as this wastes ink and can shorten printhead life. If the problem persists, please contact our technical support.

  5. Storage & Safety

Q9: How should the ink be stored? What is its shelf life?

A9: Store unopened ink bottles in a cool, dry, and dark place, with an ideal temperature range of 15-25°C (59-77°F). Avoid freezing or exposure to high heat. The typical shelf life is 12-18 months from the manufacturing date (see label on bottle). Once opened, it's recommended to use it within 6 months and ensure the cap is tightly sealed to prevent evaporation or moisture absorption.

Q10: Even though the odor is low, is personal protection still required during use?

A10: Basic protection is advised. Although we have minimized irritation, it is still a chemical product. Avoid direct skin or eye contact with the ink; wearing gloves is recommended. The workplace should have good general ventilation. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.

  6. Purchasing & Support

Q11: How do I choose the correct ink type for my machine?

A11: Our inks have specific types tailored to different printer models and printhead versions. Please provide your printer brand, exact model, and the printhead model currently in use. Our sales or technical support will then match you with the correct product.

Q12: Where can I get technical support?
